Dr. Anela Tosevska is a senior scientist and head of the bioinformatics team at the Division of Rheumatology at the Medical University of Vienna. Previously, she was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Collaboratory fellow at the Institute for Quantitative and Computational Biosciences at UCLA. She received her PhD at the University of Vienna and her Master degree at the Faculty of Pharmacy at UKIM. Her work focuses on developing computational approaches for the analysis of multiomics big data in autoimmune and rheumatic diseases. She is interested in implementing AI for novel therapeutic target discovery, diagnostics and disease monitoring.
